    RoHS Compliance

RoHS, short for "Directive on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment", restricts the use of four heavy metals (lead, mercury, cadmium, hexvalent chromium) and two brominated flame retardants (polybrominated diphenyl ethers and polybrominated biphenyls) in electrical and electronic equipment (EEE). The European Commission has released a new Directive (EU) 2015/863 amending EU Directive 2011/65/EC to add 4 phthalate substances (DEHP, BBP, DBP and DIBP) to the list of 6 substances already included in RoHS II. The 4 phthalate substances will be banned in most EEEs starting from July 22, 2019. Anlogic Infotech offers products that allow customers to be RoHS compliant.
